Policies and Rental Agreement

The Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge and Cloudberry Cabins are exclusive properties where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. We strive to exceed your expectations, so if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know.

Policies and House Rules 

* Reservations can be secured with a valid credit card. A deposit of the first night's stay will be taken at the time of reservation. 

* If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of your deposit. 

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 48 hours notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full refund will be made, minus a $25 processing fee. 

* Breakfast is available for Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge guests October - April for $25/person with advanced notice.

* Cloudberry Cabins have full facilities year-round. The Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge cabins do not have running water October-April, but showers are available during shower hours: M-Sat. 8-10am and Sun. 6-7am and 5-7pm. The main lodge has running water year round, and the Wolf's Den and Eagle's Nest have running water May 1- Sept. 30. 

* Rates are per night based on double occupancy.

* Check-in: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please make sure you have directions and the keycode to use the self-check in, or call 907-940-4546 or 541-510-6104 to make arrangements.

* Check-out is 11 am. Late check-out will incur an 'over stay' fee of 100% of the daily booking rate, plus any additional fees such as cleaning, damages, hosts hourly rate, etc. Late check-outs are possible, but must be requested in advance and approved in writing such as airbnb message, email, text message, etc.

* Drug use of any kind, including marijuana, will not be tolerated; use, storage or sale on this property will result in guests being asked to l leave immediately.

* No smoking in any buildings and only with care in designated areas outside to prevent forest fires. Removal of cigarette butts from the property not placed in smoking ash buckets will incur an additional cleaning fee of $50. 

* No parties allowed without prior approval. 

* Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am.

* We welcome up to two pets, for a $40 nonrefundable pet cleaning fee per night. This will be charged to your credit card at the time of your stay, so please make a note of any pets staying with you when booking.

We do have a strict pet policy: We are happy to host your furry family members! But please help our hard working housekeepers keep this space sparkling clean for each guest by letting only humans on the bedding, blankets, and furniture, using your own pet dishes, and cleaning up pet waste and disposing of it in bags in outside trash cans.

Failure to declare pets or follow the pet policy will result in additional cleaning fees.All pets at the lodge must be registered with prior approval. Pets must be free of fleas, ticks, or other pests and current on vaccinations. Do not leave your pet unattended in your guest room. Your pets must also be leashed at all times outside of your guest room. A dog in an unfamiliar environment may occasionally bark. Please quiet an excited pet as soon as possible. You may be required to leave if repeated barking complaints are received from other guests. Pets are not permitted in the MAIN LODGE, DINING AREA, or SAUNA ROOM of the Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge. These exclusions do not apply for service animals. Service animals must be wearing their service vest for admittance. Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste properly and in a timely manner. We also reserve the right to refuse housing to any pet at our sole discretion for any reason at the discretion of the management team.

* In the event of damage, loss, smoking, or excessive cleaning, we reserve the right to charge your credit card with the amount appropriate to the situation.
